Temporary pool fences should meet certain safety regulations, including:
· Height: The minimum height is 1.2 meters.
· Material: The fence should be made of a durable, weather-resistant material that is resistant to chemicals.
· Gaps: Gaps in the fence should be no larger than 10 centimeters.
· Opening: The fence should have a self-closing and self-latching mechanism that opens outward.
· Distance from the ground: The fence should be 10 centimeters or less above the ground.
· Latch height: The latch height should be 1.5 meters or the fence should have a design that restrains children.
· Climbable zone: The fence should not have a climbable zone that extends 90 centimeters outside of the fence
Cautions for Use
· Check the height: The fence should be at least 1.2 m high.
· Check the bottom: The bottom of the fence should be no more than 100 mm above the ground.
· Check the latch: Self-latching devices on gates should be at least 1.5 m high.
